McLaren announced on September 22nd that they are throwing more value at the McLaren 650S than ever before. All the new standard options won’t cost customers any additional money. Most of these now standard items turn an already attractive looking McLaren and add a bit of racecar credentials courtesy of carbon fiber aero pieces.
All around you get a carbon fiber front splitter, side skirts, intakes and rear bumper treatments. These enhancements are subtle, but enough to set the 2016 McLaren 650S apart from last year. Additionally, those in the market for the 650S will have their choice amongst ten other colors. And if you don’t sit in the regular racing seats, McLaren will throw in a larger set of seats free of charge.
McLaren’s enhanced technology package includes a front vehicle lifter, adjustable seats and steering column as well as Merdian surround sound, parking sensors, backup camera and car cover for $9,950. Finally, the 2016 McLaren 650S can now be optioned out with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires for $1300. Originally developed for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, it’s one of the best tires on the market and more than capable of handling what the McLaren 650S will throw its way.
