AutoWeek recently put the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte V8 to the test. This sixth generation Italian-style luxury limo sedan is basically incomparable to the almost decade-old fifth generation model. The 2014 model sports a 523-hp V8 engine and genius design that makes it larger, lighter, faster, more powerful and more fuel efficient. The Quattroporte is easily Maserati’s fastest four-door with a top speed of 190 mph but still handle’s incredibly well for its size. According to the review, the Quattroporte “has appeal for those who like their luxury characterful, quick and a little quirky […] Maserati’s enlarged limo is now properly spacious, with a distinctly Italian aesthetic inside and out. It’s also a much more engaging and entertaining drive, offering a degree of involvement and satisfaction.”
